So Yummy! So Easy!
Ingredients:
3-4 good size potatos – diced. Should be 2 1/2 cups diced. Add water to cover (Will keep water for soup later)
1/2 good sized onion – 1/2 cup diced
1 cup milk
5 good sized sliced bacon slices – diced.
Boil potatoes not overdone, but tender. Retain water.
Fry diced bacon.
After bacon is done add onions to pan with onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Add 2-3 tablespoons flour and combined. Add flour tablespoon at a time until oil and flour are combined.
Flour will bubble cook slightly.
Add 1 cup of potato water and 1 cup milk. Mixture will be thick, but not muddy.
Add thickened mixture to potato pan and remaining water.
Spice to taste salt, green onions and other spices. Add 2 tablespoons butter.
Add water to soup to desired thickening.
Serve and enjoy!
